Notice to the General Fraternity
The webmaster and his committee have put extreme care into
aligning this website (no pun) with current standards of
presentation. The code calls for using copperplate typeface
for the Beta Theta Pi name, as well as the name of the chapter
centered below it. The Webmaster's Committee found it
necessary to include the name of the University of Virginia for
unfamiliar visitors to distinguish this chapter better than only by
listing Omicron. This has presented a conflict of publication
codes. The University of Virginia stipulates that its name be
listed in the typeface, size, capitalization, and localized italics
as included above. It was deemed that using the above layout
compromises the conflicting codes of publication in the most
aesthetically pleasing fashion. |
