Philanthropic Cause
All proceeds from the
Tug for the Town will benefit the Charlottesville Free Clinic, a
local organization dedicated to the building up of our community.
The Charlottesville Free Clinic provides an "Open Door to Health
Care" for those members of our community unable to obtain it. The
Clinic treats more than 2,000 patients per year and provides
$300,000 in free prescriptions to those in need. The CFC
operates on funding from the local community and Beta Theta Pi is
proud to offer its support.
Our Mission of Service
Beta Theta Pi's
dedication to mutual assistance calls for a commitment to making
meaningful contributions to the fraternal, University, and
Charlottesville communities. The natural fullness of humanity comes
from social and intellectual life. Not only do we need air, food,
water, clothing and shelter; we also need companionship and mental
stimulation.
